Pulse Personal Lubricants: A Giveaway!

A post from Pulse Personal Lubricants:

Bringing warmth, comfort (and sizzle!) back to the bedroom

We’re going to get personal for a moment and talk about the subject no one wants to talk about: painful sex. The kind of painful sex that results from vaginal dryness caused by midlife hormonal changes associated with perimenopause and/or menopause. Despite everything you may have read, suffering is not a rite of passage; and there’s a brand-new way to bypass this kind of mood-wrecking discomfort.

Introducing Pulse, a radically new concept designed specifically to bring warmth and ease to your most intimate moments. Using intelligent technology and best-in-class lubricant formulations, the Pulse™ Warming Dispenser + Personal Lubricant Pods enhance your sexual experiences, providing a solution to a problem that many couples have endured for far too long.

It starts with smart science, because choosing the right product is integral to your overall vaginal health. Many lubricants contain harmful ingredients that can enter delicate mucous membranes, increasing your susceptibility to infections down there. Pulse’s Personal Lubricants were developed in partnership with a naturopathic doctor and are available in two healthy formulations: Aloe-ahh, which is a silicone-based formula containing aloe and vitamin E; and H2Oh!, a natural, water-based formula with pure chia extract. Best of all, both options are hypoallergenic, natural, non-toxic, and condom-friendly*, and FDA-cleared for proven safeness.

Enter the Pulse™ Warming Dispenser: In just 5 -7 minutes, this beautifully designed, secure — touchless — delivery system doses out hygienic servings of Aloe-ahh or H2Oh! lubricants, perfectly warmed to 108° – 122° Fahrenheit. The device‘s sleek aesthetic and child-friendly auto-shutoff feature make it the ideal bedside companion. Adding to its sultry vibe, the dispenser’s six sensual lighting color choices allow you to set the mood every time.

Pulse™ Warming Dispenser + Personal Lubricants offer a simple and effective way to ease tenderness and sensitivity encountered in midlife. Enhance the connection with your partner and enjoy the heat of the moment with this game-changing innovator. The Pulse™ Warming Dispenser + Personal Lubricants are available for $249 at The Pulse™ Aloe-ahh Personal Lubricant 6-Pack and Pulse™ H2Oh! Personal Lubricant 6-Pack are also available for $25 each. To give it a try, use Promo Code FRIENDFORTHERIDE at checkout for 20% off a Pulse Warming Dispenser!

Me: Pulse is a great product, and I love the small bottles, six to a pack. Perfect for a bedside drawer and travel.

The Ladies Room Door Art Series: Part Thirty-five

Doors! Doors! Doors! There’s nothing like a festive or funky or elegant ladies room door to brighten your trip to the potty.  I found the door above at the Ichibaun Buffet in Durham, North Carolina.

Kathy sent us The Cliff House in San Francisco.

I found this rustic, upbeat sign at Chicken Lick BBQ in Driftwood, Texas.

And this is from La Condesa in Austin, Texas.

This is the door at Pride 100. The bar is one of several restored bungalows on a fun street in Austin called Rainey Street.

Here’s the wallpaper inside. Not sure how old this paper is, but they say wallpaper is making a comeback.

The sink!

From Judy, here’s the ladies room sign at Peter Island Resort in the British Virgin Islands.

Lovely sinks

From Judi, a hotel in Merido, Mexico.

And I like this sign at Southpoint, my local mall.

From Rachel, here’s Indochine in Wilmington, North Carolina. Now that is one elaborate door!

From Claire, a handcrafted skirt on the ladies room sign at the Pennsylvania Welcome Center, I-83 in York County, Pennsylvania. Creativity!

From Carol, The Realto Theater at The Villages in Florida.

Also from Carol, the Longhorn Steakhouse in Commerce, Georgia.

And finally, Nancy snapped this lovely sign while attending a play at the Passmore Senior Center, in Hillsborough, North Carolina. Yikes!

MOCAheart: A Giveaway!

When MOCACARE offered me a MOCAheart device, I happily accepted their offer.

Once it arrived, I had no trouble downloading the ap and syncing the device to my phone. After I charged my MOCAheart up, I turned it on, put my thumbs in the right place, and waited a tiny bit. Then my numbers popped up on my phone screen. Talk about easy!

Watch MOCAheart in action on this video:

Here’s more information from MOCACARE:

As you know, menopause has the potential to raise your risk of heart conditions

The results automatically sync to the MOCACARE App storing all data conveniently.

The connected app allows users to share results with doctors or loved ones through its HIPPA compliant messaging platform. After each reading the app also displays actionable insights on how to improve or maintain heart health.

Games for Beach Week (and a Giveaway!)

My friend Cathy and I walk, and boy, do we talk. The hour and the miles speed by. A few weeks ago, Cathy described the great games they played on her family beach trip. I asked her to send me the names of their favorites, and she did. (The descriptions are from Amazon.)

The Game of Things

Read funny topics, like ‘THINGS… you shouldn’t do when you’re naked’ and then everyone writes responses, like ‘Fly a kite’, ‘Jumping jacks’, etc. Now guess who said what. It’s a hilarious party game for ages 14+.

Wits and Wagers

Why does everyone love Wits & Wagers? Because you don’t need to know the answers to win! First, everyone writes down a guess to a fun question like “How many people have walked on the moon?” Then players try to score points by choosing which guess is closest to the right answer. With simpler rules and all new family-friendly questions, the Family Edition is the game that kids and parents actually enjoy playing together!

You remember Outburst: Your team hears a Topic like “basic Ice Cream Flavors.” Now yell out every name you can think of. But no matter how wonderful or numerous or humorous your answers are, you only get credit for the names that are on the Topic card. In Reverseburst, you’re given the answers. Now guess the Topic! The fewer clues you need, the further ahead you move. In Challenge Burst, both teams bet how many “correct” answers they can come up with. The team that wins the bid has to make good on their bet – or their rivals surge ahead the amount of their bid! Ultimate Outburst. It’s the Classic Game of Verbal Explosions times 3 … for 3 times the fun!
 5 Second Rule
It should be easy to name 3 breeds of dogs—but can you do it under the pressure of 5 seconds twisting down, and with the other players staring at you, waiting for you to get flustered? Time’s not on your side, so just say what comes to mind and risk ridiculous answers slipping out as time twirls down on the unique twisted timer! It’s all in good fun with this fast-paced game where you have to Just Spit it Out!
In her work as a speech pathologist, Cathy plays games with younger kids. Here are four of her favorites:
Race to the Roof
Can you make it to the attic before anyone else? Starting at the front door, roll the die and race through the different rooms. Roll a 6 and take an object card – you might leap forward or take a huge step backwards. No two games are alike on this varying game board.
 Snail’s Pace Race
Snail’s Pace Race is a cooperative, non-competitive game that is part of Ravensburger’s Imagine-Play-Discover line of early learning games for children ages 3 and up. Players move six colorful snail game pieces along the path of the game board, each starting from their matching colored leaf. All snails race even if there aren’t an equal number of players. Players roll the dice to move the snails forward along their color path until they reach the last spot in their color
Barnyard Bingo Game
Barnyard Bingo Game is a chute dropping, barn-door popping game of animal matching bingo fun! Encourages thinking and problem solving, sharing & cooperation, curiosity & discovery and fine motor skills.
Shopping List
Be the first to fill your shopping cart with all of the items on your shopping list, in Orchard Toys’ best-selling memory game.
And this one’s from me. I had a great time playing Zingo with grandson Maze on our own family beach week.
Can you add to our list? Any favorites?
